We discovered deep wisdom and prudence in sharing with our valued clients, investors and business partners, a brief synopsis of Twin Lodges formative foundation and history.
We first established the brand “Twin Lodges” as a Guest House Lodge in March 2005. At that point, we operated as a sole trading company. Our Guest House was home to many companies, investors, tourists and business persons whom we pampered with excellent hospitality services. Following a sharp upsurge in client bookings and orders at the Guest House, my family was tipped to expand the business. We then collectively decided to efficiently channel our profits into a sustainable trajectory of business development and growth.
From this point onwards, we arranged to venture into commercial farming and agribusiness, as a fundraising initiative for growing our hospitality business. We grew 10 ten hectares of maize in the first agricultural season and we harvested 60 tonnes of grain. We saved profits accrued from this season and saved for investment in the next season.
The next agricultural season we ventured into a successful tobacco farming project that boosted our capacity to develop our hospitality business. Frankly speaking, it is very imperative for us to acknowledge the immense contribution that agriculture played in helping our business grow. Not only can I acknowledge agriculture itself, but the unwavering commitment, hard work and dedication invested it.
After acquiring adequate funds to turn our Guest Lodge into a comfortable, luxurious and modern lodge outfit, business consultants appropriately advised us to register a Hospitality Investment Company. We then registered Log Palm Investments after realising that our service provision profile and investment capacity had skyrocketed.
This heralded the transformation of Twin Lodges Guest House into a fully established Resort and Lodge, that provided top-notch accommodation, delicious food, business conferencing services, outdoor and indoor catering, a bar and restaurant.
To date Twin Lodges immensely values professionalism, hard work, competence, luxury and accountability. These values were adopted from the formative years of the resort. These values combined, have catapulted our business to tremendously grow and develop into a widely recognised and acknowledged hospitality institution.
